使用 MOTIV 应用来更改麦克风设置，并录制和编辑您的音频。

1. 调整麦克风设置。

   选择适合您的录音条件的预设模式。设置话筒增益和立体声广度以优化录音。有关话筒放置的信息，请查看“对准话筒”；有关调节压缩、均衡等的信息，请查看“MOTIV 应用”。

2. 将设备设置为飞行模式和勿扰模式。

Device Setup

① Notifications The top row displays which device is connected. A red flashing dot next to the name let you know whether recording is active. The charms show which advanced features are on. Tap the headphone icon to access direct monitoring control. Tap the lock to lock or unlock the settings.

Note: Lock the settings to prevent accidental changes to settings when handling your device during recording. When mic settings are Locked, the setting screen is grayed out.

② Input Meter Displays the strength of the input signal and whether that signal is mono or stereo. The loudest peaks should reach within the target range (indicated by the shaded region between -12 and -3 dB).

③ Microphone Gain Adjust the mic gain slider to set the volume of the sound source.

④ Custom Presets Tap the caret to quickly access your saved presets. Or tap the Save button to save current settings. See Custom Presets for more information.

⑤ Preset Modes Set stereo width, equalization, and compression for specific applications. See "Preset Modes" for more information.

⑥ Polar Pattern Selection Swipe to choose your pick-up pattern. Use the handles to adjust the width of the stereo image.

Tip: Consider the location of the microphone and the size of the sound source when adjusting the width. For example, a large orchestra or ensemble recording benefits from a wide stereo image, which increases separation between instruments. Speech benefits from a narrow width, which improves clarity and rejects ambient (room) sound.

⑦ Stereo Width Handles Use the dots to quickly set stereo width.

⑧ Advanced Features Fine tune your audio recording with limiter and compressor controls, high pass filter, left-right swap, and equalization settings.

Preset Modes

Five selectable modes optimize settings for gain, stereo width, equalization, and compression. Set the microphone level and try the modes to find which sounds best. Preset modes can affect the strength of the input signal, so adjust the microphone level as needed after changing presets.

Custom Presets

Create and save custom presets to quickly access frequently used mic settings.

1. Start with the preset mode that best suits your application needs.
2. Adjust advanced settings, like compression, for clarity and consistency.
3. Tap Save to rename and save your new custom preset. The original preset will remain available.
4. The new custom preset is added to your list.

To access saved presets:

1. Tap the caret (arrow) in the Preset row to view your list of available presets.
2. Tap custom preset and Apply Preset to instantly apply gain, stereo, equalization, and compression preferences.

Tip: You can save a custom preset at any point. Tap Save and give the current settings a new name.

Direct Monitoring Blend

There are two ways to access the Direct Monitoring slider when you want to adjust your monitor source. Tap the input meter to view the mic gain and monitoring blend sliders. Or you can view the slider by tapping the headphone icon in the device settings tab.

Use the direct monitoring slider to determine how much of each input you hear. For best results, start monitoring at the midpoint and adjust.

• Move the slider towards Mic to hear more of the audio that is being currently recorded by the microphone.
• Move the slider towards Playback when you want to listen to the previously recorded audio and less of the audio coming in to the microphone. This is useful for when you want to review your recording.

High Pass Filter

Choose no HPF for the most natural sound. Or select 75 Hz or 150 Hz to reduce wind noise, room noise, or proximity effect.

75 Hz Low frequency cutoff Provides a 6 dB-per-octave cutoff at 75 Hz. Helps eliminate floor rumble and low-frequency room noise from heating and air conditioning systems. This setting may also be used to compensate for proximity effect or to reduce low frequencies that make an instrument sound dull or muddy.

150 Hz Low frequency rolloff Provides a 6 dB-per-octave rolloff filter at 150 Hz. Use this to compensate for proximity effect or to reduce low frequencies that could make an instrument sound dull or muddy.

左右通道交换

对于立体声录制，使用左右交换切换左右音频通道，从而使立体声声像与视频匹配。例如，当使用视频录制自己时。

Compressed Format Recording

The MOTIV app records uncompressed audio files to provide the highest quality recording. However, you might find it more useful to record in a compressed file format. Compressed files take up less storage space allowing you more space on your device to record. It's also easier to share compressed files by message or email because compressed files use less data. Consider using a compressed format for recording demos or initial ideas because in this case it is more important to capture the idea than have the highest possible fidelity recording.

If you are unsure about which format to choose, start with the highest quality setting. You can always compress files later from your library if you find that you require smaller files sizes. See the Supported Audio Formats section to learn about the file formats that are available to you.

Remember: You can convert compressed audio to an uncompressed format, uncompressed audio to a compressed format and one type of compressed format to another. However, only WAV files can be edited. If you need to edit a file, convert the file to a WAV file first.

位深和采样率

打开飞行模式和勿扰模式。

使用锁定模式锁定您的声音

当您测试了音频并找到您喜欢的级别后，请打开 "锁定" 模式以防止意外调整，并确保音频质量保持一致。

单声道录音

录制单声道音频可增加可用的录音时间，且在录制单个音源（如人声）的声音时，可降低环境噪声。选择 Mono Cardioid 或 Mono Bidirectional 指向性，系统会将所有拾音头采集的音频相加为一个通道。输入电平表会显示波形的上半部分，以表明在进行单声道录音。MOTIV 支持带单声道录音功能的第三方话筒。

立体声录音

旋转话筒夹中的 MV88+ 圆筒以适应竖排或横排录制。L 和 R 标签表示话筒的立体声方向。如 Shure 徽标面朝上方，则立体图像是准确的。

使用深色主题

选择“深色”显示屏选项，将应用显示屏从浅灰更改为深灰。较暗的显示屏十分适合在弱光环境中进行录制。较暗的显示屏还可节省电池电量。

您可通过前往 Menu > Settings > Appearance 来访问主题外观设置。

捕捉完整的表演

为确保捕捉整个音源，在表演开始前开始录制，在稍后编辑该录像，以剪辑任何静音部分。

注意：如果在录音过程中，话筒意外地断开连接，MOTIV 将自动停止录音。系统会弹出保存文件对话框，提示您为音频命名并保存音频。

备份提醒

播放

Using the Files App to Manage the MOTIV Library

Access your MOTIV audio files from inside the Files app. The MOTIV app will create a MOTIV folder inside Files, including a recently deleted folder inside the MOTIV folder. Here you can copy your files to other folders or share to other apps on your device if those apps support file sharing. When you copy or move your files outside the MOTIV storage, you can ensure that those files will not be deleted if the MOTIV app gets uninstalled.

Note: Any changes made to MOTIV recordings in the Files app will be reflected in the MOTIV app. This means that if you change a file name or delete a track in Files, you will see those changes or deletions in the MOTIV app library. MOTIV and the MOTIV folder in Files remain consistent. If you move a track in FIles to another location, that track will no longer show up in the MOTIV library. Also, if you were to add a file to the MOTIV folder in Files, that would show up in the MOTIV app library.

Recovering Recently Deleted Files

Files that you no longer need can be deleted and will disappear from your library. However, you might find that you have mistakenly deleted a file that you want to keep. In this case, the Recently Deleted folder is a temporary safety net that will store files for 30 days before permanently deleting them.

Using Enhance to Improve your Recordings

To preview the changes made by the enhance feature, select the part of your audio file where you would like the preview to start. Once your file is processed, enhance can adjust settings.

1. Place the playhead (red bar) where you would like the preview to start.
2. Tap Low, Medium and High to hear how your file changes with different enhance levels.
3. Select the level that sounds best and then Save. You can save the file or rename it to create a new file.

Note: Every time the file is changed, you will need to apply Enhance again to process the changed file.

How Does Enhance Work?

By selecting one of the three Enhance levels (low, medium, high), a series of processing algorithms are applied to your file. The amount of processing depends on the level that you have selected. Loudness, compression, soft and hard limiting are applied to all levels. Automatic equalization is applied to the medium and heavy Enhance levels. Preview the levels and select the one that sounds best. Save the file with a new name or preserve the original track and create a new enhanced file with a new name.

Tip: Start by applying enhance to a single track. It will be faster to process each file individually. Also, different tracks will have different levels and tones. By processing one file at a time, you can be sure that enhance is getting the best sound out of each track.

保存到 Dropbox

将 MOTIV 文件保存到 Dropbox，以存储备份文件，释放 iOS 设备的存储空间，或在社交媒体上分享文件。

AirDrop^® 与 MOTIV

MOTIV 支持通过 AirDrop 将 WAV 文件发送给所选的联系人。

1. 打开 MOTIV 应用并前往我的录音页面。
2. 点击选择按钮以选择一个或多个文件。
3. 依次选择分享和更多查看您的 AirDrop 联系人。

保存到 iTunes

使用 iTunes 轻松在台式电脑和 iOS 设备间传输音频文件。

1. 将 iOS 设备连接到电脑并打开 iTunes。

   注意：建议使用最新版本的 iTunes。

2. 选择您的设备图标，然后在设置栏选择“应用程序”。

   

3. 在屏幕下方的文件共享板块中选择 MOTIV。使用最右边的滚动条，滚动到屏幕底部。您的 MOTIV 文档会显示出来。

   

4. 高亮显示您想要保存的录音，然后选择“保存至”按钮。

   

   注意：上传大文件会花费更长的时间。

现在，文件已下载到您的电脑，您可以将它们添加到 iTunes 数据库或将它们导入到任何音频编辑程序中。
