View Devices on the Network

The Microflex Wireless app displays MXW devices networked to the computer.

Initialize New Devices

New networked devices must be initialized with a passphrase. The same passphrase is assigned to each new device as part of initialization, and is required to access those devices.

Double-click an initialized device to open it.

Select Devices for the Group

The group channel count is determined by the access point (APT) model: 2, 4 or 8 channels.

Link Microphones to the Group

Remove the Microphones

Microphone LEDs stop flashing when it is ready to use.

Safety Information

WARNING

LISTENING TO AUDIO AT EXCESSIVE VOLUMES CAN CAUSE PERMANENT HEARING DAMAGE. USE AS LOW A VOLUME AS POSSIBLE. Over exposure to excessive sound levels can damage your ears resulting in permanent noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL). Please use the following guidelines established by the Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) on maximum time exposure to sound pressure levels before hearing damage occurs.

  • Only use Shure charger to recharge Shure rechargeable batteries

  • Do not attach or insert battery with polarity reversed.
  • Keep away from small children.
  • Do not use abnormal batteries.
  • Pack the battery securely for transport.

Bodypack Microphone Transmitters

These transmitters have been tested and found to comply with international radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment is in direct contact with the body of the user under normal operating conditions. These transmitters must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

These mobile transmitters are intended for use at distances greater than 20 centimeters from the human body.
